Darn Donuts Set to Open on 4th Ave

Darn Donuts [8723 4th Ave] are coming!  That's a promise they've kept when we first noticed their signage going up.  The opening date is finally drawing nearer. We can almost smell the donuts and coffee from here. Can you?

The donut shop replaces the outgoing shipping/copying center that shuttered in late April. A welcome addition to 4th Ave and the 86th Street shopping corridor, Darn Donuts will vie to shake up the sleepy donuts and coffee segment by making fresh donuts on-site, something that the local Dunkin' Donuts (including the one across the street) stopped doing years ago.

Especially at night, the signage is a brilliant light show that's sure to draw attention. Although no hours have been published as of yet, the owners informed us that their soft opening date will be October 17th November 10th.  We'll have more for you as that date draws closer.  For now, you can keep up with them on Facebook.
