PIG GUY NYC 8413 3rd Ave
PIG GUY NYC [8413 3rd Ave] is finally opening this week (Confirmed for Thursday 11am) according to ownership and their latest announcement on Facebook/Twitter. It's been a long time coming since we last wrote about it back in April.  Here's what you need to know:

8413 3rd Ave
Official Soft Opening Slated for 7/16 11am
It will officially open for business at 11am tomorrow. True to the latest food trends, they are set up as a fast casual experience. Great for sitting in for a quick bite, or take-out for those who want to bring lunch back to work quickly.

Pig Guy NYC Bay Ridge Menu
Bring your appetite, there's something for everybody
For those ordering in there will be adequate well-appointed seating for groups and/or individuals alike. Curbside pickup will be available from day one, as is catering. A full menu that includes starters, sandwiches, and sides based on your appetite. It's a generous menu to say the least, fit for Ridgeites and any adventurous foodies planning to make the trek to visit the flagship store.

We've definitely come a long way from concession stand offerings, but certainly there are some items on the menu that have transferred over well including the chorizo dog and bacon on a stick.

A full complement of sandwiches including Smoked Brisket and ribs, oh my!
(Psstt, by the way there are also salads too)

Originally a dream conceived not very long ago, business partners Thomas Perone, Pasquale “Bino” Trunzo, and George Venetsanakos set a course to franchise this model based on the growing demand of BBQ in NYC. We think they've hit the nail on the head. Countless media requests have been ringing nonstop and a very public ribbon cutting ceremony is slated for today.

Although we noticed the Chicken Leg found at concession stands didn't make it over there's certainly enough other meats to choose from.

Future plans include ordering items by the pound for tailgating or viewing parties.
