Spartan Souvlaki II [8303 3rd Ave], the Dyker Heights favorite opened late February to hungry diners in the space formerly occupied by Grapevine back in November.
Arguably, the location is better situated than the original 8th ave spot, Spartan is unmistakably Greek, serving up fast-casual grilled chicken, beef, lamb, or pork kebab via pita or platter. When we passed by over the brisk February weekend of Feb 22nd, it was packed to the brim. Locals are clearly excited to have another option along 3rd Ave. We'll get the word from the street to you shortly.
